According to NBC 6, Green’s mother, who was not named, was very short of breath when she was hospitalized. Her health worsened quickly and she had to be transferred to the ICU, where she was intubated. Eleven days after hospitalization on May 17, Green invited her two children to go to the hospital.

The nurse, in turn, said that their grandmother was not well. Green was alone in the room with other witnesses and, at one point, said: “I will work hard“Then she would have removed her mother’s breath tube.

The medical team arrived in the room shortly after the alarm shot. According to testimony, when doctors tried to help the patient, Green said she wanted her mother to “rest in peace.” The woman died minutes later.

After the mother’s death, the nurse left the hospital. The same night, the police went to her house, where she agreed to talk about what happened. The statement, however, was given at the Miami-Dead County Police Station.

Green was arrested, without bail at the Turner Guilford Knight correctional center, and will be responsible for guilty murder. She stated guilty of the accusation. The penalty may be higher because it is an elderly person, according to the publication.

Junsette worked as a nurse for over 20 years. However, she did not work at North Shore Medical Center, where her mother was hospitalized. Given this, she was not allowed to make any medical decision for hospital patients, including her mother. The case is still being investigated.
