In this edition the candidates over 18 years old will again be able to use the result of the test to get the high school diploma, if they have not yet
Registration for the, starting this Monday (26) and runs until June 6 at the website at the National Institute for Educational Studies and Research Anísio Teixeira (Inep). The tests are scheduled for November 9th and 16th. In this edition, in addition to applying for undergraduate vacancies in Brazilian public universities, in institutions abroad and scholarships at private colleges, candidates over 18 years old will again use the result of the test to get the high school diploma, if they have not yet. “The norm amends MEC Ordinance No. 458/2020, in order to contribute to the valorization of Enem as an instrument of educational policy, reinforcing its evaluation character of the conclusion of basic education and its ability to meet the different profiles of participants,” says the Ministry of Education (MEC) on the guidelines of edition 2025, published on Friday (25).
The validity of the test as certification of completion of high school and partial declaration of proficiency in the teaching stage had been discontinued in 2017. At the time, the determination was that this role would be exclusively from the National Exam to certify youth and adult skills (Encceja). Now, older Brazilians still without high schools will be able to resort to both Encceja and Enem to get certification.
Automatic pre-registration students of the 3rd year of public high school
According to the announcement, those regularly enrolled in the 3rd year of high school of public schools will be automatically pre-registered. Anyway, they will need to access the participant’s page to confirm the information and choose the tongue option of the test. “For the first time, students graduating from public school will be pre-named in the system, a way to simplify the process and stimulate participation, said the Minister of State for Education, Camilo Santana. Different dates in Pará: due to the 30th United Nations Conference on Climate Change (COP 30), in the municipalities of Belém, Ananindeua and Marituba, ENEM 2025 will be held on November 30 and 7 December.

The participant must indicate the claim to use the results to complete high school already in the registration and, when taking the test, will have to meet the following requirements:
- – reach a score equal to or greater than 450 points in each area of knowledge;
- – reach at least 500 points in the newsroom;
- – Be 18 or older on the date of the first test of the exam.
“After receiving the result of Enem, interested parties should go to a unit of the federal education, science and technology institutes or state institutions that have signed an adhesion term with Inep, leading the necessary documentation to request the issuance of the certificate.”
