The six largest state -owned companies controlled by the federal government expanded their sponsorship funds in the president’s third term. The contracts signed by Petrobras, Caixa, Banco do Brasil, Banco do Nordeste, Post and approached the $ 1 billion mark last year.
The money has risen in all six federal companies with the highest revenue. The total amount, with correction for inflation, went from R $ 351.5 million in 2023 to R $ 977.6 million in 2024. The increase corresponds to more than 250% from one year to another.
