United States President Donald Trump criticized the country’s diversity and inclusion policies and NATO and assumed credit for the construction of the Armed Forces, in a speech to the style of rally in the prestigious West Point Military Academy in New York.
Trump, wearing a suit and his characteristic red cap, saying “Make America Great Again,” mixed advice to “work hard” with a list of his main complaints on cultural and political issues while speaking to a stadium full of cadets, family and a crowd that supported him widely.
“The work of the US Armed Forces is not performing drag shows, turning foreign cultures,” said Trump. “The work of the military is to master any enemy and annihilate any threat to the United States, anywhere, anytime.”

Since taking office for the second time in January, Trump has reverted Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (Dei) programs in the Armed Forces and the Government as part of a greater effort to terminate the policies promulgated by his predecessor Joe Biden.
“We released our divisive and humiliating political training troops,” Trump told the 1,002 cadets that graduated from the gym. “There will be no more critical or transgender racial theory for all forced to our brave men and women in uniform, or anyone else in this country.”
Trump has been a strong defender of the Armed Forces, even though he has placed his own mark on them, as he did with other government branches.

“We were deceived by all the nations of the world in commerce. We were fooled at NATO level,” said Trump. “We have been deceived like no country has ever been fooled, but they no longer deceive us.”
The president will preside over the celebration of the Army’s 250th anniversary on June 14 with a parade on one of Washington’s main roads. The birthday coincides with Trump’s own birthday.
