The 39 -year -old woman is already under investigation by another violent incident in which she attacked a minor at Hamburg airport.
A 39-year-old woman was arrested for stabbing 18 people on Friday at the Hamburg Central Station in northern Germany after admitting the crime, the German Attorney General said on Sunday.
“The author admitted the facts,” a German prosecutor’s spokeswoman told Hamburg to the Spanish news agency, EFE, after a German citizen, was brought to court on Saturday.
On Friday, the woman was arrested as the alleged author of the stabbing she made 18 injured, some of them seriously, in an attack without political motivation. The investigation points to the unstable psychological state of women as the cause of the attack.
The author of the attack was identified by the press as being Lidia S. and, according to the Bild newspaper, had discharged from a psychiatric clinic on the eve of the attack.
By court order, according to the newspaper, the detained woman, who is already under investigation by another violent incident in which she attacked a minor at Hamburg airport, is currently in a clinic.
