The city of Rio Branco held, on the morning of Monday (26), the delivery of the reform of the Basic Health Unit (UBS), located in the neighborhood Adalberto Aragão.
UBS, called Francisco Caetano da Silva, underwent updates not only in its structure, but also a modernization of equipment. In all, the investment made was R $ 788,995.94 in an area of approximately 336 m².

Among the changes made with the investment are the demolition and removal of old structures, infrastructure and superstructure execution, roof renewal, walls, coatings, floors, and the electrical and hydrosanitary installations of the site were revised and updated.
The mayor of Rio Branco, Tião Bocalom, was present during the delivery, and stressed the importance of delivering a humanized service to the population.

“Thank God this is already the thirty -seventeenth delivery, with a bid in progress for another 20, we want to leave all the units reformed, adequate, to deliver a humanized service, both the professional and for the population,” emphasized Bocalom.

This is already the 37th renovated and expanded health unit since the current mayor, Tião Bocalom, assumed the maximum chair of the Acrean capital, of the 61 existing. Another 20 are already in the bidding process.
The municipal health secretary, Rennan Biths, was also present in the reopening, and highlighted the advances in the basic health of the municipality.

“The unit was sized to serve all this audience of the region of Adalberto Aragão, Aviário, Tropical, to meet the demand of this region, this population, these neighborhoods here in the surroundings,” said the secretary.
The president of the neighborhood Adalberto Aragão, Vandré Bernardo, spoke about the importance of reform to the local community.

“Our community, the population is satisfied, because, after all, we gained a new, modern health unit. Our community deserves. And it is in the standard, as we expected. Thank God. And today is just a party, just celebrate and thank the city, because it has been doing a great job in this administration of City Hall,” he said.
