On Sunday afternoon (25), Flamengo went to Allianz Parque and beat Palmeiras in a game valid for the 10th round of the Brazilian Championship. The goals of the 2-0 win were scored by Arrascaeta, on penalty, and Ayrton Lucas.
The first stage started with Palmeiras by pressing Flamengo. At 11 minutes, Facundo Torres crossed and Varela intercepted with his arm and the referee signaled a penalty. After a long consultation at VAR, the decision was upheld and Piquerez was responsible for the collection. The Uruguayan hit the right corner, low, and Rossi defended.
Then the match stayed and the teams created little. Flamengo only arrived in the lecture area already in additions, when a good collective move ended in a blocked kick of Bruno Henrique.

Behind on the scoreboard, Palmeiras released more and started to occupy the attacking field. First, Maurício had a good chance, but hit the outside, and then the ball was left to Flaco López, who finished badly.
Despite an alviverde pressure, who scored another goal was Flamengo. On a quick departure on the left, Ayrton Lucas tabelled with Wallace Yan and appeared face to face with Weverton. Calmly, the back took out of the goalkeeper and gave the game final numbers: 2-0 to Mengão.
