The main ingredients of cheese-cream cauliflower are Greek cheese and yogurt. This first product makes the vegetable a distinct taste, and the whole dish is pleasantly pulling and filling. In turn, yogurt gives it creamy. Of course, we can’t forget about spices and a little greenery.
What ingredients do we need to make cheese-cream cauliflower? Here is the list:
- 1 cauliflower head;
- 1 cup of Greek yogurt;
- 40 g sera cheddar;
- 1 tablespoon of butter;
- 1 clove of garlic;
- Spices: salt and pepper as desired;
- parsley or dill for decoration.
At the beginning we wash the cauliflower and remove the leaves from it. Then we divide it into roses to cook evenly.
In the next step, cook the vegetable in lightly salted water for 5 minutes. It must be soft, but it cannot fall apart.
Place the strained cauliflower in a pot and add Greek yogurt to it, garlic, butter and spices squeezed through Prague. Then we add the grated cheddar cheese and mix thoroughly to cover all roses.
Finally, we can additionally bake this dish in the oven, although this is not necessary. Such cheese-cream cauliflower should be sprinkled before serving parsley or dill.
We recommend giving it as an addition to baked chicken or turkey. It goes well with porridge or meatless rice. His great complement are croutons and crunchy onion or fried bacon.
