The private humanitarian organization Gaza Humanitarian Foundation, backed by the United States and Israel, has announced that it will begin its controversial plan to deliver help to the entrepreneur was on Monday. From the beginning of his offensive in Gaza in October 2023, Israel has only allowed the entry of humanitarian aid – compas, gasoline and medicines – intermittently to the enclave, in which about 2 million Palestinians live, with hundreds of thousands of people at risk of famine. After the growing international pressure, Israel has partially relieved the blockade decreed on March 2.
United Nations and other humanitarian groups such as the International Red Cross Committee have opposed Israel’s plans to control the humanitarian aid flow towards Gaza.
Woods also called Israel to “significantly expand the provision of help to Gaza through all mechanisms, as well as all interested parties to continue exploring new innovative methods for the delivery of help, without delays, deviations or discrimination.” (Agencies)
