The investigator of the environment of a 32-year-old man from Sečovce in the district of Trebišov accused the offense of animal abuse. The accused was supposed to kill the two -month -old dog in March this year. This was reported by the spokeswoman of the Presidium of the Police Force (PZ) Martina Sláviková.

“The accused was supposed to cause a puppy to suffer from a painful, cruel, and agile way of his actions, the consequences of which the puppy had died. He was supposed to cause a fragrant fracture of the forehead and theme bone, bleeding into the cavity of the cranial cavity and destructive damage to the brain tissue,” the spokeswoman said. If the guilt is proven, the man is punishable by a prison sentence of up to five years.

In this context, the police point out that Any unreasonable action aimed at injury or death of the animal is an illegal action within the meaning of the Veterinary Care Act.
