A massive explosion in a chemical plant: At least five people have lost their lives!

At least five dead and 19 injured on Tuesday required an explosion in a chemical plant in the East Chinese province of Šan-Tug. There are six more people missing, so the number of victims and injured people may increase. More than 200 members of emergency units were sent to the site, Informed Chinese state television CCTV. The massive explosion occurred shortly before noon at the Kao Jou-Tao plant in Wej-Fang. According to the video published by the local resident, it was strong enough to set off windows even in the warehouse more than three kilometers from the factory.

In the CCTV TV shots you can see the dense black smoke towing rising from the explosion site. A factory that employs more than 500 people is produced by pesticides and chemicals for medical use.

In recent years, several explosions have occurred in China in chemical plants. One of them in a predominantly Muslim autonomous area of ​​Ning-Sia claimed two victims and four injured last year. Another occurred in 2023 in the province of Jiang-Si. More than 170 people have killed two massive explosions in warehouses in a port city in Tchien-otin, which contained dangerous and flammable chemicals.
