Brussels (Reuters)-Pornhub porn, stripchat, xnxx and xvideos sites will be investigated on suspicion of violation of the European Union online content law, regulatory agencies of the country bloc on Tuesday.
Companies were designated in 2023 as very large online platforms according to the Digital Services Law (DSA), which requires companies with this feature to make illegal content on their platforms.
The European Commission said companies have not complied with the rules that require them to implement appropriate measures to protect minors from porn content.
Separately, the EU executive agency said the block countries will coordinate actions against minor pornographic platforms to protect children.
