O Carrefour Brasil announced on Monday night (27) that all suspensive conditions for the realization of the Capital closure of the company were fulfilled and which provides for the conclusion from operation to May 30, according to the meeting minutes of its board of directors.
With the deal, Brazil’s largest food retail network will be incorporated by the French matrix.
“The members of the Board of Directors unanimously and without any caveats have verified and confirmed the satisfaction of all suspensive conditions,” the company said.
Earlier this month, Carrefour Brazil’s executive president, Stephane Maquaire, said that the closure of capital should speed up the company’s decision-making process and greater process simplification, which can support a faster pace of store expansions from 2026.
