Croatian Prime Minister Plenkovič hardens: plans to invest in defense and modernization of the army

Thanks to its “strong economic growth”, Croatia will invest more in defense. After a meeting with the Secretary General of the North Atlantic Alliance Mark Ruttem, Prime Minister Andrej Plenkovič announced this through the X social network X. According to the report by Hina, TASR reports this.

“Croatia as a responsible NATO member supports the stability and European perspective of southeast Europe. Through constant investments in defense capacities, it gives Croatia is currently two percent of its GDP in defense, with 30 to 40 percent intended to modernize the armed forces, ” Written Plenkovič on the network X.
