It is scheduled for June 4, at 9am, in the plenary of the Legislative Assembly of the State of Acre, the solemn session in honor of the 50th anniversary of Expoacre, proposed by state deputy Afonso Fernandes (Solidarity/AC). The ceremony promises to be a moment of celebration and official recognition to the historical role that the fair plays in the development of the state.

With the date approaching, the expectation is growing around the event, which should bring together producers, businessmen, authorities, institutions and representatives of civil society. The population is also invited to follow the ceremony, which will mark the beginning of the celebrations of a trajectory that helped shape Acre’s economic, cultural and social identity.
Held annually in Rio Branco-and since 2005, also in Cruzeiro do Sul-Expoacre has consolidated itself as the largest business fair in the state. In 2024, it moved impressive R $ 391 million in business in the capital. In the Juruá Valley, the local edition reached R $ 36.6 million, a significant growth of almost 64% over the previous year.

More than numbers, Expoacre represents a meeting point between field and city, tradition and innovation, producers and investors. It is a space where Acre shows its entrepreneurial strength, values its culture and reaffirms its ability to reinvent itself.
For Deputy Afonso Fernandes, the solemn session is a symbolic and necessary way to recognize this legacy. “It is not just about celebrating a date. It is about recognizing the vital role that Expoacre plays in the development of our state. And give it the place of honor it deserves in the history of Acre,” says the parliamentarian.
The tribute aims to bring together political leaders, representatives of the productive sector, workers, entrepreneurs and personalities who, over the five decades, contributed to transform the Expoacre into an acrean student showcase.
