The Foreign Relations and National Defense Commission of the House of Representatives approved an application, authored by the pocketist André Fernandes (PL-CE), to question the chief minister of the Civil House, Rui Costa, about statements from the first lady Rosângela da Silva, the Janja. Parliamentarians also question whether “there is dialogue or ongoing agreements between the federal government and representatives of the Tiktok social network to implement content moderation policies directed by ideological criteria.”
When asked about the episode involving Xi Jinping, Janja said there was no protocol break and compared the treatment of access given to children and adolescents to social networks in China and Brazil.
“I talked a little about this issue of how the algorithm delivers outside China and had no discomfort at the moment. President XI even said that they also have problems within China, despite having a very strong regulation. During the interview, the first lady also said she regretted the offense against Elon Musk, owner of the X during the social G20.
