Ministry of Agriculture investigates suspiciously in Ceará, Tocantins, Pará, Bahia, Rio de Janeiro and Rio Grande do Sul; Case was confirmed in Minas Gerais
It updated it, at 1 pm of this 3rd (27.MAI.2025), the number of cases in investigation for aviary flu in Brazil. Now, they are 11 suspicious cases of disease and in ornamental birds in Mateus Leme (MG), Belo Horizonte Metropolitan Region. There are also 2 other outbreaks of the disease, both in Rio Grande do Sul.

The confirmation of the case in Rio Grande do Sul led to the importation of Brazilian chicken meat at some level.
According to the last update of the Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock, at 15h on Friday (23.MAI), are:
- 23 markets with total suspension of poultry exports in Brazil: China, European Union, Mexico, Iraq, South Korea, Chile, Philippines, South Africa, Jordan, Peru, Canada, Dominican Republic, Uruguay, Malaysia, Argentina, Timor-Leste, Morocco, Bolivia, Sri Lanka, Pakistan, Albania, Namibia and India;
- 16 markets with suspension restricted to the state of Rio Grande do Sul: Saudi Arabia, Türkiye, United Kingdom, Bahrain, Cuba, Macedonia, Montenegro, Kazakh, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Tajiquistan, Ukraine, Russia, Belarus, Armenia, Kyrguistan and Angola; and
- 2 markets with suspension limited to the municipality of Montenegro: United Arab Emirates and Japan.
