Ισραήλ: Η υπόσχεση Νετανιάχου για τους ομήρους – «θα φέρουμε πίσω τους ζωντανούς και τους νεκρούς»

While the global outcry for his atrocities is growing up, turning against him, thousands of Israelis participated in a course in her Muslim district
which the Guardian describes as “violent” and “racist”.

According to a report by the British newspaper, thousands of Israelis participated in a government -funded march in the Muslim district of the Old Town in Jerusalem, where large groups were shouting racist slogans such as “Gaza is ours”, “deaths”.

Annual course in Jerusalem

The annual course, paid and promoted by the government of the city of Jerusalem, is celebrating the occupation and occupation of Eastern Jerusalem and its sacred sites by Israel in the 1967 war. Israeli occupation is not internationally recognized.

The municipality of Jerusalem advertises the event, known as flags, as a “festive procession”, part of a wider program of celebrating the “liberation” of the city.

The march has been tarnished by racism and attacks on the Palestinians for years, the Guardian reports, preceding a violence in the Old Town, which essentially excludes the areas of the Palestinian majority, especially in the Muslim district.

Loot in shops

Small groups of young Israelis attacked and harassed shopkeepers and passersby in the city, spitting women with hijab, stealing from cafes, looting a bookstore and entering at least one house.

“Shut up now, otherwise I can’t protect you,” one police officer told the owner Raymond Himo when he protested about teenagers in religious Zionist costumes who stole drinks. On Monday, the stores were mostly closed until 1 noon, hours earlier than in previous years, with residents being fortified in their homes.

‘You don’t belong here’

Aviv Tatarsky, researcher at the IR Amim Non -Profit Organization who works for a fair Jerusalem, said: “He deprives people of their financial income, makes them feel insecure in their environment. It symbolically sends a message: “You don’t belong here, we are the ones who have this place.”

“Let their villages burn” – “Death in the Arabs”

From noon, groups of Jewish men in the city were shouting racist slogans such as “let their villages burn”, “Mohammed is dead” and “death in the Arabs”.

Course separated by gender for religious reasons

These slogans were chosen by larger groups of mainly men who began arriving late in the afternoon. The women approached the western wall with a distinct path, which is largely divided by sex for religious reasons.

A large group that arrived at the Damascus Gate was shouting “Gaza is ours” and holding a large banner that read “Jerusalem 1967, Gaza 2025”, threatening to threaten the strip to repeat the occupation of the East.

“No Nakba there is no victory”

Another banner wrote “without Nakba there is no victory”, referring to the violent expulsion of about 700,000 Palestinians when the state of Israel was created in 1948.

The far -right in the spotlight

The procession is coordinated by “Am K’lavi”, a non -profit organization whose only activity is to organize the flag day. The president is Baruch Kahane, the son of Meir Kahane, a Rabbi of Jewish superiority founded by the Kach party. Forbidden as a political party in Israel in the 1980s under anti -terrorist legislation, it is today a far -right movement.

Palestinian violence targets

Despite the history of violence along the way, the police presence in the old town was relatively small and did not do much to protect many of the Palestinians who were targeted by violence.

The far-right Minister of National Security Itamar Ben-Gvir was among the crowds that arrived in the old town around the sunset. Earlier he had made an inflammatory trip to pray to the al -Aresa mosque as a whole, where Israel officially does not allow Jewish faithful to perform religious ceremonies.

‘The Palestinians deserve a bullet in the head’

Information from Al Jazeeera reports that Ben – Gvir, addressed to the concentrated, quoted a story with the Israeli prime minister regarding the obstruction of humanitarian aid to the Gaza Strip in which he urged him to provide him with a humanitarian help.

“I said to the Prime Minister:” Dear Prime Minister, they should not give them humanitarian aid. We must not give them fuel … Our enemies are only worth a bullet to the head! “

Deaniahu ignored the warnings

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu hosted a meeting of the Council of Ministers in Siluan, in occupied East Jerusalem. He ignored Shin Bet security warnings that it would be an inflammatory move, Israeli media reported.

Provocative expression of Jewish control

The flag course is already regarded as a violent and deeply provocative expression of Jerusalem’s Jewish control, which has previously caused wider conflicts. Violence at the same event contributed to the 11 -day war between Israel and Hamas in 2021.
