According to preliminary information, the episode would have occurred after a disagreement between neighbors, and the victim was reportedly hit by firearm shots. The agent, taken by the Military Police to the Flagrant Police Station (Defla), was released on the same day.

In order to ensure transparency and correct facts, MPAC has requested steps to the Technical Support Center (NAT), which will verify the place of occurrence, seek security cameras records and identify potential witnesses.

The agency also issued a letter to the General Corregedoria of the Civil Police, requesting, within five days, information about the procedure instituted, including the decision that justified the non-drawing of the act and the release of the agent.

In addition, formal requests were sent to the Legal Medical Institute (IML) and the Criminalistics Institute, with ten days to send the expert reports, both the cadaverous examination and the expertise of the site.
