The mood was still good shortly before 10 a.m. Hundreds marched in the sunshine towards the Wien exhibition center. Members of Attac Austria struggled to inflate an oversized hose that was supposed to represent a pipeline – a first indication that not everyone agrees with what the OMV makes. The oil, gas and chemical company had called for the general meeting. More than 2000 shareholders accepted the invitation.
