The gooseberry season in Poland lasts from June to September. Experienced fruit growers know perfectly well that not only before flowering, but also during the fruit formation, it is worth supporting the shrubsfor these to give birth to a whole bunch of healthy and juicy fruit.
It is better not to forget about it, because it is crucial for obtaining abundant crops. To support plants, you don’t need store nutrients. You can use cheap home -made gooseberry fertilizer. You will find the necessary ingredients to prepare it in the kitchen.

Even the best gooseberry fertilizer will not help you if you do not provide the bushes with the right conditions for growth and development. You should plant them in the autumn at the turn of October and November to make it to root before frosts and develop in spring.
Later you can also do it in April. The most important when growing gooseberry is to place seedlings in a slightly sour sand-glinous surface (pH 6,2-6,7).

Dilute this fertilizer before watering gooseberry in 10 liters of warm water and wait 1 hour. Thanks to this, the ingredients mix better, and the conditioner itself will be more effective. Use every 2 weeks, because yeast is a source of nitrogen valuable for gooseberry, and magnesium milk, which is also necessary for development.
