Ukraine reduces the threat of Putin's European partner with his latest finding: "It is a fact"

The head of the Ukraine External Intelligence Service (FIS), Oleg ivhenko, said in an interview with Ukrinform which Belarus does not have nuclear weapons or the so -called Orelhnik system, as reported .

“There are launching systems, that’s true. There are airplanes, there are short -range ballistic missiles Iskander. But there are no nuclear weapons in Belarus. That is a fact,” he said. Ivashchenko said the bellrusic president, Alexander Lukashenko, said the country will have an Orelhnik system by the end of the year.

“But that sounds more like illusions. For now, there is no such system and it is unlikely to appear,” emphasized the head of Ukrainian intelligence. In addition, he added that the Belarusian Army is currently not able to fight a large -scale fight.

Ivashchenko added that approximately 2,000 Belarusian soldiers are parked near the border with Ukraine, but only to distract the Ukrainian forces in the war ordered by the Russian president, Vladimir Putim, more than three years ago.

“In other words, its combat force is limited. Even before the war, they were not able to perform offensive operations, and their staff is not morally prepared for it,” he said.
