The options are many, and, as happened at Virada Cultural de São Paulo, choosing what to do during this challenge day, on Wednesday (28), may be the biggest of all challenges. Spearhead in Brazil of this physical proactivity movement that started 30 years ago in Canada and involves 3,500 organizations in 14 countries, Sesc breathes sport this week.

This Wednesday has everything. In São Paulo, there is a race for the night of the night with stops to observe the graffiti of the lindeiros buildings; Festival of Volleyball and Table Tennis for Elderly in various units of Greater São Paulo and Registration (SP); 1×1 soccer arena in Largo da Batata; Several challenges of athletics, such as heel, at Sesc 14 bis.

There is much more, but the cool thing is that the entity is still expanding the options of activities for those who want to move – every day of the year – and at prices many affordable. All age groups are contemplated.

Esporte has always been one of the main aspects of Sesc-SP, but the entity has been implementing news and equipment worthy of state academies.

One of the great options is functional training, called GMF, always under the supervision of physical educators, including even spinning bikes. The good thing is that it is already possible to practice these classes in more than one unit – to register, you are not stuck to that particular unit. The most expensive monthly fee costs $ 108.

Sesc-SP also strengthens the race, with clubs in various units. The priority is for those who have full credentials, prerogative of trade workers and their dependents, but remaining vacancies are open. And the street racing circuit, which also has cheap and very disputed inscriptions, should expand the number of steps to 12 next year.

Project Management Technician in the SESC-SP sports area and event coordinator such as Challenge Day and Sesc Summer, Mario Silveira told the column that the entity intends to sensitize mainly who is inactive and that, for this, the participation of the public power is fundamental.

“We talked a lot about active mobility, especially the walk and the bike. But cities need to be welcoming. Sesc-SP made a letter commitment trying to involve the mayors so that they can reduce the physical inactivity of the population of their cities by 5%.”

The letter was launched this year to enjoy the first year of management of mayors, and Sesc-SP does not, according to Silveira, disseminate the names of cities that do not meet the goal, but reveal the macroregions that stand out.

For the paulistanos, another cattle: Cepeusp, probably the most cited place here at Run, also enters the tune of the day of the challenge with three days of entry released to all audiences.

The USP club is already opening on Tuesday (27) and runs until Thursday (29) with activities such as Roundnet, Padminton – a badminton for more expert spaces – and football -related games. For those who prefer to do everything alone, there are balls available to the common areas; For the Gregaries, several shuttlecocks.

If you never got in there, as that old TV commercial would say, “I recommend.”
