The 67-year-old Adonay José da Silva was injured after falling off a coconut foot on the night of Tuesday (27), at Rua do Futuro, in the Boa Vista neighborhood, Baixada da Sobral, in Rio Branco.
According to popular information, Adonay asked her neighbor permission to gather some coconuts in the backyard of the residence. With the aid of a ladder, he climbed the coconut foot and was removed the fruits when he was unbalanced and fell from a height of approximately four meters.

In the fall, the elderly fell sideways, hurt his arm and rib, and ended up fracturing the femur’s head near the hip, being unable to get up.
Friends and neighbors quickly triggered the Mobile Emergency Care Service (Samu), which arrived at the scene and provided first aid. The elderly was attended under the coconut foot, and it was necessary to help the community to transport it to the ambulance. After stabilization of the patient’s clinical condition, Samu referred him, in a stable state, to the Rio Branco Emergency Room.

The victim entered the emergency room trauma sector and will undergo examinations to evaluate the severity of the injuries.
