The Senate Infrastructure Commission are frightening and incompatible with parliamentary decorum, said the government leader in the House, Deputy José Guimarães (PT-CE).

Guimarães, who attended a meeting between the minister, a committee of deputies and the mayor (Republicans-PB), said Marina received solidarity from those present after the offenses suffered in the Senate.

Earlier, the minister left the committee session after PSDB leader Senator Plínio Valério (AM) ,.

“We provide solidarity with the minister, because this is not a rooster fight yard, no. The minister needs to be respected,” said Guimarães. “Some senators did not respect her and she has total solidarity of ours. It is not done. The Republic is in conquers because of this kind of behavior that often happens here and today happened in the Senate.”

He said he was surprised by allies attacks. At the session, Senator Omar Aziz (PSD-AM) argued with the minister because of BR-319, a federal highway and faced years ago to be paved again. The senator said Marina was not “more ethical” than anyone in the room.

“I think this is something that scares, this climate, this kind of conduct, this kind of behavior. It is incompatible with decorum, it is incompatible with the constitution,” he said. “I think these two plenary, our ancestors, they shake in the tomb.”

Leader of the House, (RJ) also criticized the behavior of senators. “It was an inadmissible disrespect. A misogyny. Attack a woman who has a story like Marina.”
