In the statement, signed by investor relations director Renato Hermann Cohn, the bank stated that Daniel Vorcaro pledged to “Provide resources to the Master”.
According to the document, the operation was carried out through its full subsidiary BTG Pactual Holding de Control Ltda. The bank reported that the acquisition of the assets is aligned with its “investment strategy ” and represents “An opportunity to generate value for the bank and its shareholders”.
The sale of assets occurs after the Master Bank has in March this year. The negotiation provides that the Bank controlled by the Government of the DF gets 58% of the total capital and 49% of the Master’s voting capital.
BTG Pactual stressed in the relevant fact that the acquisition is not subject to preceding conditions and has already been completed on the date of disclosure of the document.
Accompanied and anniated by the BC and the (Credit Guarantee Fund), the operation still depends on the (Administrative Council for Economic Defense) to obtain regulatory approval.
