Liu Ge were parachuided by the Qilian mountains in the north when he lost control.
“I felt a lack of oxygen and my hands were frozen … but I kept communicating through intercom,” Liu allegedly said.
The man was dragged into a frozen vortex of clouds shortly after take -off – from about 9,850 feet – and reached an altitude of over 28,000 feet. There, the temperature dropped to -40 ° C and oxygen levels were particularly low.
He himself, however, managed to maintain his senses and land safely.
Liu is now recovering in the hospital with severe colds.
