In the last round, the São Jorge Parque team was exceeded by America de Cali who, despite leaving behind on the scoreboard, tied with Racing, from Uruguay, 1-1, already in additions and finished their campaign with the same points as the Corinthians, but with better goal balance.
Group C of the competition ended with the Argentines in the isolated lead with 15 points, ahead of Time Colombian, with eight, from Corinthians and Racing, which added in the last round its only point.
This was the second Corinthian fall in continental competitions this year. At the beginning of his journey, the São Jorge Parque Club was eliminated by Barcelona de Guayaquil in the preliminary phase of Libertadores.
Now, in the rest of the season, the alvinegro team will face only the disputes of the Brazilian Championship and the Brazilian Cup. In the event event, the team is in the eighth position, with 14 points after ten rounds. In the knockout, it is classified for the round of 16.
