Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s announcement was made this Wednesday in the Israeli Parliament, but the death of the Hamas leader in Gaza took place on the 13th.
“We killed Mohammed Sinouar.” It was thus that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu announced during a session in Parliament the death of Hamas leader in Gaza.
“We expelled the terrorists from our territory, were forceful in the Gaza Strip, we eliminated tens of thousands of terrorists, we eliminated (…) Mohammed Sinouar,” said Netanyahu.
France Press recalls that on May 13, the Israelite army has an attack on “A Hamas Command and Control Center”. This attack was aimed at now, the leader of the Palestinian Islamist movement.
Mohammed Sinouar led the Hamas armed wing – the al -Qassam brigades – considered a terrorist organization throughout the United States and the European Union.
Following the death of several Hamas leaders, including his own brother, in the last 19 months of war, Mohammed had an important role in negotiations with Israel, in the management of the group’s hostages and military wing.
Hamas has not yet reacted to the announcement of the Israeli Prime Minister.
