Israeli army killed the expected leader of the militant Hamas movement in the Gaza Muhammad Sinwar band, confirmed on Wednesday Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. Muhammad Sinwar was the younger brother of the previous leader of the movement Jahjá Sinwar, who lost his life last October at an Israeli operation in Rafah in the south of the Palestinian enclave and who is considered to be the Hamas attack of the south of Israel from 7 October 2023.
According to Netanyahu, Muhammad Sinwar was the victim of the Israeli bombing of hiding under the hospital in Khan Juni, May 13. Jahjá Sinwar was headed by a militant movement from August to 16 October 2024. He took the post after Ismail Hanij, whom Israel killed in July of the same year in Tehran.
