The Planalto updated and corrected information from the gallery of former presidents of the Republic, which is exposed in the main hall of the palace.

Report of Sheet April this year in the data of the old leaders, such as wrong spellings and inaccurate dates.

Now, the gallery has changed the way of presenting the former presidents, replacing the complete names with only one name and surname, except for the current president, Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva (PT). It also included the term of office of the respective presidents.

Some of the mistakes were precisely in surnames, as in the case of “Affonso”, name of Fernando Collor’s medium, erroneously written with only one F, and “Vana”, name of Dilma Rousseff’s medium, which appeared with two letters N.

With the update, both presidents have exposed in the wing only their first name and the main surname for which they are popularly known – patter applied to all others.

The wing was one of the destroyed parts of the Planalto Palace during the coup invasion to the three powers headquarters during January 8, 2023.

A QR Code was also included alongside the photos of the former presidents, who leads to their policy profile pages on the National Archive website. There are biographies and official data from the personalities.

Despite being mentioned by the first lady, Janja, visiting the restored wing, Planalto said previously had no information that the detail would be included in the hall of the photos, which was now included.
