The election of Samir Xaud to the presidency of the CBF left a vacuum of power in the Roraimense Football Federation (FRF), which allowed the doctor to be chosen for the main position of national cartolage.

But from what we see, the age, the physical factor, Dona Adelaide is unable to assume a federation,” says Sérgio Caranguejo, president of São Raimundo, the largest state champion, with 12 titles.
“Will there be someone maneuvering her? I don’t know. So I think there should be a new election, to choose a president who is able to work for all the clubs,” added the leader of São Raimundo.
Jander Cavalcante, president of Gas (Grêmio Atlético Sampaio), current two -time champion Roraimense, also argues that a new election is convened.
Adelaide either has information about the situation. Asked by the report would take over the federation, replied, “Yeah, let’s see, right? To this day nobody knows yet.” He then hung up the phone, claiming that he was in the hospital accompanying a daughter.

“We glorify God because Samir was chosen, he is there, it was a very fast business, maybe he would not even think about being president of the CBF, it is something that came suddenly, but we have to get together to see how this federation situation will look like.”
