In her profile, she published a filming of the moment of confusion and an outburst about what happened. “I arrived to work and just wanted to go to the bathroom,” he lamented, in his statement.
According to Kely, it all started when she paused her activities to use the women’s room. When she left the environment, however, the professional was warned by a gym frequider, who prevented her from getting into that bathroom.
“I then asked why I couldn’t use the bathroom and she said it was not my place, that there was not a bathroom for a man, so I understood the weight of the situation,” he said.
The discussion continued. According to Kely, the gym client insisted that she is not a woman and should therefore use the bathroom located on another floor of the establishment.
“I started changing, but wisely, I asked if she knew me, if I knew my story for her to say that. See how the head of those who suffer prejudice is: at times, we think we have to have the need to prove what we are, and we don’t need it,” he said.
While Kely tried to understand the situation, a personal student of Personal approached and began to defend her. At this point, the confusion was filmed. “My student, who is pregnant, was very nervous and started arguing, so a man arrives and I do not know if he is the husband or family of the woman who approached me, but he says I can not go to the bathroom,” he said.
In the images, you can see when a man says that “there is a bathroom down there for her,” referring to Kely. “Don’t there’s a bathroom down there? Don’t you have a bathroom?” Shouted the man.
Those involved changed and then the woman who defended Kely asked her to show her identification document to the couple. “Shows your identity, Kely, to prove to him too. You’re ridiculous. She’s a woman,” he shouted.
The man said, also to the screams, that the personal could not use the bathroom. “No, there’s a bathroom for her down there, for her.” Kely asked who the bathroom was and the man said, “To you. Woman included. It’s inclusive down there.”
“I’m impressed, because at no time did she hempherd to apologize or think she was wrong. She spoke so much conviction what I was, if I play, I could believe it myself. The people around they believed and I had to shut up because ‘I was wrong’, but I just wanted to go to the bathroom.”
“The gym people took the cause to a room, and then she was not there in the first part of the footage, but after I challenge him saying that I’m going to the bathroom and he tries to stop me, using the body, the gym staff gets in the room and beats the mouth. At the end of the video, when they show them both, they continue with the claims,” he recalled.
After the confusion, Kely filed a police report and decided to make the episode public. After reports published on the networks, she received support from hundreds of people.
