Amarante was already removed from his duties by the (National Council of Justice) on suspicion of sale of sentences. There is also an order to kidnap goods and values ​​in the approximate amount of R $ 30 million and the ban on leaving the country, collecting its passport.

According to the findings, a money laundering scheme was identified, set up to conceal millionaire payments of bribes, in exchange for judicial decisions given by the magistrate, linked to the Court of Justice of the State of Mato Grosso.

The investigations came from the analysis of the cell phone in Cuiabá, in front of his office in the capital of Mato Grosso.

In his cell phone, conversations were found with judges, entrepreneurs and who brokered negotiations with STJ servers.
