Hunter Magnilson da Silva Araújo, 33, was alive after 50 days missing in the interior of the state of Amazonas. He would have told his brother that he was lost after being “enchanted” by a woman -shaped entity who called herself “mother of the woods.”
Magnilson disappeared while hunting with two other members in the region of the municipalities Manacapuru and Novo Airão. Family members claim that the hunter, at one point, decided to go the other way, leaving his companions aside.

He would have said to his brother, after his rescue, who was guided by a supernatural entity of the forest: “He only said he was enchanted. He had a woman who was calling, and he went out to look for him and said he was the ‘mother of the woods’. He was stunned, walked, walked and returned to the same place. The hunter appeared last Wednesday (28/5) approximately 5 km away from the place where he was disappeared. Dehydrated and debilitated, he found a house in the municipality of Ramal do Tumbira and asked the residents for help.
After receiving help, including meals, Magnilson got sick and was taken by the Fire Department to a hospital. The hunter’s relatives found him after the family who welcomed him to post on social networks.
