Adolfo Sachsida, Bruno Bianco and Paulo Guedes are witnesses of defense of Anderson Torres
The 1st Panel of the (Supreme Federal Court) has this Thursday (29.MAI.2025) the 3rd day of hearing of witnesses indicated by the defense of Anderson Torres, former Minister of Justice and Public Security of (PL).
Torres is cited as a member of the “core 1” in the judgment on the 2022 – nucleus of which, according to investigations, the main decisions and social impact actions came. The testimonials will be made by video conferencing from 8am.
Will be heard this morning:
- Adolfo Sach pageformer Minister of Mines and Energy of Bolsonaro;
- Adler Anaximandro Cruz e AlvesAttorney General;
- Bruno Biancoformer Agu (General Advocacy of the Union) of Bolsonaro;
- CELIO FARIAformer minister of the Bolsonaro Government Secretariat;
- Paulo Guedesformer Minister of Economics of Bolsonaro;
- Wagner Rosarioformer Minister of CGU (Comptroller General of the Union) of Bolsonaro.
The testimonies of the towers witnesses began on Tuesday (27.mai) and will continue until Friday (30.MAI). This week will also be heard the witnesses indicated by Bolsonaro, former Defense Minister Paulo Sérgio Nogueira and General Walter Braga Netto, all defendants in action for attempted coup.
There is no transmission of the testimonials. The press follows the audience through a big screen installed in the Supreme. Journalists, however, cannot record the statements, by decision of the case rapporteur, the court minister Alexandre de Moraes. The content will be made available in the process after the testimonials are finished on June 2. In all, there will be 82 testimonials.
The 1st Panel of the Supreme Court listening on May 19 the testimonials of the witnesses indicated by the main core of the attempted coup. According to the PGR (Attorney General’s Office), the group would have been responsible for leading the criminal organization.
This is the 1st step of the criminal instruction phase of criminal action – the production of evidence production before the judiciary. In addition to listening to the witnesses, the board should also produce documentary and expert evidence requested by the prosecution and defense and gather complementary information to clarify facts and circumstances.
This Thursday (29.MAI), the STF ministers will meet in plenary at 14h. Here are the main items of the board’s agenda, formed by 11 magistrates:
- Remittance of resources abroad (RE) – Discusses the constitutionality of the incidence of CIDE (contribution of intervention in the economic domain) in remittances of resources abroad;
- TCE-GO (ADI) – Asks Goiás Law that allows people in non -existing positions in the Goiás Court of Auditors;
- Animals on Airplanes (ADI) – Action calls for the suspension of Rio de Janeiro state. The standard establishes that airlines provide free transportation in the cabin of emotional assistance animals, which help people with psychiatric problems, and service animals such as guide dogs. According to, the legislation invades the exclusive competence of the Union to legislate on transport guidelines and interferes with the air navigation regime;
- Tocantins (ADI) – Asks the decree of the Tocantins government. The text suspends the effects of the law, which changed the subsidies table of Civil Police delegates, promoting a salary alignment between the various classes of the career. The action also questions the suspension of the salary increase for Civil Police delegates in Tocantins;
- expertise fees (ACo) – Action on the payment of expertise regarding the expertise that the MPF had requested against the (National Institute of Colonization and Agrarian Reform), the states of Mato Grosso and Mato Grosso do Sul and the owners of dismembered areas of glebas allegedly located in an area considered border range.
