A collision between a truck and a bus, which carried students from a school in Coimbra, today caused seven minor injuries.
Collision fired a school bus to a ravine and made at least seven minor injuries, including six children. INEM helicopter was triggered.
A school bus crashed on Friday morning with a heavy goods in the Alfeizerãonorth-south direction, forcing the road to cut in the Alcobaça area.
The bus carried 41 people, including 37 children of a school in Coimbra. Fell into the ravine next to the road following the collision and lay sideways, in a disaster that did at least Seven Light Wounded – Six children and the driver of the heavy goods.
On site are 68 operational along with 32 vehicles and an air medium that would be on its way. The A8, where it was still circulating the left, should end for the grounding of the INEM helicopter, which, driven by precaution, should not be necessary.
The other passengers of the bus “will be transported on another in another bus to firefighters for a new evaluation in a more controlled environment,” explains Carlos Silva, sub-regional commander of Emergency Emergency and Civil Protection of the West, to SIC Notícias.
