Driver accuses PM to threaten him in downtown Rio Branco: “He said he would give me a club”

The driver Manuares Junior sought the report of the ContilNet This Tuesday (29) to denounce that he was threatened by a military police officer, also this Thursday (29).

Manuares reported that the vehicle in which the military policeman was closed him in the traffic of one of the streets of downtown Rio Branco and, when he got out of the car, the agent threatened him with physical aggression.

“Hello, Pmac, I was closed in traffic by a vehicle of the Military Police, without siren use. I reduced the speed proportionally, fearing a collision. After stopping, one of the police descended and said he would ‘give me a club’, something completely unacceptable,” he said.

“I am a working person, honest and respect the traffic laws. I know that the Rio Branco Military Police are mostly composed by serious professionals and committed to the safety of the population. Therefore, this type of behavior does not represent the institution, but an isolated abuse that needs to be investigated,” he continued.

Junior said he appeals for justice. “I leave this account as an appeal for respect, professionalism and justice. We cannot normalize threats or intimidation, especially coming from those who should protect,” he said.
