Graz former mayor Alfred Stingl died at the age of 86

Graz – the long -time Mayor of Graz died Alfred Stingl (SPÖ) on Thursday – one day after his 86th birthday. Mayor Elke Kahr (KPÖ) announced on Friday in a broadcast. Stingl was mayor of the Styrian state capital from 1985 to 2003 and was considered an important personality even after his time in the town hall. Among other things, he volunteered as a social ombudsman for the campaign “From person to person” of the “week”.
