The president of INSSGilberto Waller Júnior, said on Friday (30), that the number of requirements what They dispute discounts on benefits already exceeds 2 million. Waller Júnior visited the Central Agency of the Correiros in São Paulo, where he accompanied the first day of care to retirees and pensioners.
The president of the INSS also pointed out that about 11 million people made consultation with the Social Security system to find out about improper discounts.
“Eleven million people made this kind of consultation. Of these 11 million, 7 million had no discount. Of the 4 million they have, 2 million signaled that they did not (authorized the discounts). The other 2 million saw the discount, but did not signal either yes or no,” he said.
Also according to Waller Júnior, if 100% of the contests have the confirmation that they were undue discounts, the amount to be reimbursed will arrive at the billion house:
“As for value, if we put consolidated, it is a little more than R 1 billion reais. If 100% of those who have contested are really (discounts) undue.”
