“We should announce next week the payment schedule from an agreement we are in the finalization phase, concluding with the Union Public Defender’s Office and the Union Public Prosecutor,” said Messias.

Yesterday (29), the Minister of Social Security, Wolney Queiroz, said he hopes that the federal government will be able to conclude the compensation of victims of the fraud before the end of the year.
On Tuesday (27), the National Council of Social Security (CNPS) met and decided that all retirees and pensioners who suffered improper discounts must receive payment by December 31 this year.

This Friday, the post office begins to serve the INSS retirees and pensioners who suffered improper discounts.
Beneficiaries will be able to consult, contest and monitor discount analysis directly at the post office agencies. There will be about 5,000 qualified agencies in all states to meet the demand.

According to the operation, carried out by the Federal Police (PF) and the Federal Comptroller General on April 23, unions and associative entities would have improperly charged retirees and pensioners about R $ 6.3 billion between 2019 and 2024.
The discovery of the frauds led to the falls of the president of the INSS, Alessandro Stefanutto, and the former Minister of Social Security, Carlos Lupi.
