Samdian of the Specialized Criminal Court (ŠTS) in Pezinok liberated the former President of the Supreme Court (NS) of the Slovak Republic and ex -Minister of Justice Štefan Harabin under the indictment in the case of approval of Russian aggression in Ukraine. The indictment was filed for the offense of defamation of the nation, race and beliefs and the offense of approval of the crime. The court’s decision is not yet final.

Štefan Harabin has lasted from the beginning of the trial on his innocence. The indictment is politically motivated by Ján Foltán. He considers it illegal and unfounded. At the April main hearing, he stressed that The defined deed does not imply that his client would shame the Ukrainian nation.

The prosecutor of the former Office of the Special Prosecutor’s Office filed an indictment in June 2023. The act concerns the statement of Štefan Harabin shortly after the beginning of Russian aggression in Ukraine. Štefan Harabin, according to the indictment on the social network, wrote that would do the same as Russian President Vladimir Putin, talking about the Nazis Pacific.
