That is why it is worth using this vegetable in various salads. We will turn up its taste, adding red beans from the can. Just a few minutes to create a colorful snack that will disappear from the plates in the blink of an eye.
My mother’s Chinese cabbage salad consists of colorful vegetables. The whole is complemented by a mayonnaise-yogurt sauce, which perfectly combines all additions and gives a delicate taste.
What ingredients do we need to make Chinese cabbage salad with red beans? Here is the list:
- 1/2 head of Chinese cabbage;
- 1/2 can of red bean;
- 1/2 red pepper;
- 1/2 apple;
- 3 pickled cucumbers;
- 3 branches of parsley;
- 1 clove of garlic;
- 3 tablespoons of natural yogurt;
- 2 tablespoons of mayonnaise;
- 1 tablespoon of lemon juice;
- Spices: salt and pepper as desired.
At the beginning, we prepare vegetables for salad: finely chopped Chinese cabbage, drain red beans with the pickle, cut the peppers and pickled cucumbers, and rub the apple on a thick grater.
We combine all vegetables in a bowl, and in a separate dish we prepare the sauce. For this purpose, mix natural yogurt with mayonnaise and lemon juice. We add garlic and spices squeezed through Prague.
Pour the salad of Chinese cabbage with a yogurt -glaze sauce – mix the whole thing. Finally, sprinkle it with chopped parsley.
