The seventy -two -year -old man bought cheese on the way home from a trip to Liptov. At that time he had no idea that this decision would be fatal to him, the website informs. KHe was sick after his consumption and died a few days later.

The circumstances of death and the origin of contaminated cheese are currently the subject of investigation. Hygienists have not yet commented on the incident. But the autopsy has shown the presence of Listeria. Listeriosis is an infection caused by Listeria monocytogenes. It is most often transmitted by consuming contaminated foods.
