United States President Donald Trump praised Elon Musk on Thursday (29) and said he will hold a press conference with the billionaire, whose mandate in the government is coming to an end, this Friday (30), at 1:30 pm (local time), 2:30 pm in Brasilia, at the Oval Hall.
“This will be his last day, but not really, because he will always be with us, helping us all the way,” Trump wrote in a publication on Truth Social. “Elon is amazing!”
Musk, giving Tesla investors comfort after the fall of shares this year, partly due to the negative reaction to their support for Trump and the right -wing parties in Europe.
The billionaire led Trump’s so -called government department of government efficiency (Doge), in charge of cutting federal spending.
On Tuesday (28), Musk criticized the cost of tax and budgetary legislation of republicans in Congress.
In addition, he had recently promised to spend less money on policy from other republican candidates last year.
