Summer begins meteorologically on June 1st – and will take up speed in a temperature in the coming weekend: In cities such as Vienna and Innsbruck, the display on the thermometer 30 degrees Celsius is likely to reach the official brand for so -called heat days. As a new report by the researchers of the World Weather Attribution (WWA) illustrates, the number of extreme hot days in almost 200 countries is at least twice as high – compared to a fictional world without climate change.
