The good news is: intelligence is not an unchanging inheritance like eye color. It is actually a brain muscle that can (and should!) Be trained throughout life. The bad news? There are people who, without realizing it, adopts habits that do just the opposite: atrophy their own cognitive potential.

Based on renowned scientific studies, such as the Dunning-Kruger effect (1999) and research by psychologist Carol Dweck (2006), we identified the six most common habits among people with low intellectual development.

It’s not an offense, it’s science. And if any of these behaviors sound familiar… maybe it’s time to rethink.

6 common habits among less intelligent people

1. Excessive multitasking

It seems productive to do a thousand things at the same time, but it is trapped.

Studies show that multitasking negatively affects focus, short -term memory and decisions. That is, who tries to do everything at once ends up doing nothing right.

2. Lack of curiosity

Not questioning, not exploring, not wanting to understand how things work is a gateway to mental stagnation.

Curiosity is fuel for intelligence.

3. Chronic procrastination

Postponing important tasks constantly can be a symptom of poor time management and attention.

Worse, this habit undermines the ability to complete goals and learn from practice.

4. Bad food

Mind healthy starts on the plate.

Excessive sugar and ultra -processed foods directly affect memory, concentration and cognitive performance. Your brain feels, and complains.

5. Escape from challenges

According to Carol Dweck, who believes that “born that way” avoids challenges for fear of making mistakes.

And then it does not learn, does not evolve, it does not grow. Those who have growth mindset see errors as part of the path.

6. Intellectual arrogance (dunning-kruger effect)

People with little knowledge, but a lot of confidence.

This effect shows that those who least know are often who knows the most, and it gets in the way (and a lot!) Learning.

But calm: intelligence can be cultivated.

By abandoning these habits, cultivating curiosity, seeking new learning and challenging yourself, you not only avoid the stumbling blocks of Qi… but builds a sharp brain and prepared for the world.
