Businessman Henrique Blecher is launching a new luxury venture in Barra da Tijuca, Rio de Janeiro, and told CNN That the idea is to bring the “wonderful city” back to the radar of the high -income audience.
Blecher says he seeks to “rescue” the protagonism of the river as a destination to live. For this, it is betting on the construction of a condominium in partnership with Pininfarina, a company that operates in the model design of Ferrari, Maserati and Alfa Romeo.
“Rio is repositioning itself as a relevant city in the real estate market. It has been behind São Paulo for a long time, but is rescuing the pride of being carioca, after so long in existential ostracism. So, my venture and others that will enrich this rescue and the high -income market debate,” he said.
Becher gave details about the realization of the venture that is underway. According to him, there was mutual interest in building something different in the carioca real estate market.
“Pininfarin was a pleasant surprise because it doesn’t have in Rio yet, it is doing several projects in Brazil and with more its own characteristics, different from what I proposed, which is a more intimate thing. Rio has the thing more from bossa, casual, but at the same time, in detail and design,” he said.
