Part of the overpass near Brodsky in the district of Skalica above the Railway line Kúty – Břeclav collapsed on Saturday. There are no new restrictions for passengers. TASR was stated by the director of the Communication Department of the Railway Company Slovakia (ZSSK) Jana Pobišová.

As she said, it is not a railway bridge, but a road bridge leading over the track that does not belong to the ZSSK report. “The operation of passenger transport in this section is not interrupted at the moment,” Zábišová approached.

In the section Kúty – Břeclav, only the EUROCITY (EC) trains have been operating for a long time, which are regularly redirected during the weekend lockout through the town of Holíč in the district of Skalica and Český Hodonín. “Passenger trains on this track have been replaced by bus service for more than a year,” added.

ZSSK monitors the situation and is in contact with the railway infrastructure manager – the Railways of the Slovak Republic. Details of the lockout are available to the public on the ZSSK website.
