Judge Alessandra da Rocha Lima Roidis, of the 1st Criminal Court of the Capital, decided to replace the influencer’s pre -trial detention with precautionary measures. Belarmino, who surrendered to the police on May 19 after being on the run for ten months, is accused of running over and killing physiotherapist Fabio Toshiro Kikuta on his wedding day in July last year.

In her decision, the magistrate considered that “the accused is primary and bearer of good criminal record, so that public order is not really threatened, especially with regard to the absence of significant criminal history.”

The accident was registered by security cameras, which showed that Vitor drove at a speed of 109 km/h, exceeding the allowed limit of 70 km/h. As a result of the judge’s decision, several precautionary measures were imposed on the influencer.

Restrictions include the obligation to attend monthly to the court, the delivery of the driver’s license and the prohibition of driving. In addition, he will not be able to attend nightclubs between 10 pm and 6am and should maintain a minimum distance of 500 meters from the victim’s wife. The influencer is also forbidden to have contact with witnesses and must deliver his passport to the court.
